Everyone Equal?

I hate hate hate the idea that everyone should be equal. It is human nature to be lazy. Without a reward system based on effort, a vast majority of people would become negligent in their work and society would go into a state of decline. People would not being willing to go through the extensive training required for occupations such as doctors and lawyers knowing that their financial reward would be equal to someone who obtained a minimal education and a job that reflected it.

  1. This is very true. However, as much as I love being lazy and relaxing, I love working hard on something I enjoy. And I'm sure other people would too. For example, teachers know that they aren't going to be receiving much salary at all but you still see people learning how to teach and paying for college to get a teaching degree that may not do much for them anyways. I don't think that if everyone was equal that no one would rise above the rest in order to do what they love or enjoy.

  2. I hate the idea of equality as well. If people put in the effort for something of higher value, why should the people that don't give effort get the same reward? It just isn't appropriate and it annoys me.
